Propulsion modelling: More efficient ship propulsion through statistical modelling and control.
Propulsion modellingBackgroundThe aim of this page is to describe the findings and results from the Ph. D. project "Mining of Ship Operation Data for Energy Conservation". The Ph.D. project was set out to develop statistical models for analyzing the dynamics of ocean-going vessels, especially with regard to modelling fuel effciency. The Ph. D. project was funded by "Føroyagrunnurin frá 1971", which is administered by the Faroese Research Counsil. The project is a co-operation between DTU Informatics and Decision3.
