A little history...

I was born in Køge in 1969, a truly remarkable year. I received my M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark in september 1994. The title of my thesis is "Time series prediction using recurrent neural networks" (in danish).

I have been continuing my studies of recurrent neural networks as a Ph.D. student financed by CONNECT, the Computational Neural Network Center. I am supervised by our local guru Lars Kai Hansen and Jan Larsen.

Between February and August 1996 I was visiting David Stork at RICOH California Research Center. I tried to collect a small photo album from the stay.

My Ph.D. thesis entitled Optimization of Recurrent Neural Networks for Time Series Modeling is completed and was successfully defended on September 19, 1997; what a big relief! I have left the Technical University and is now employed as a management consultant in PricewaterhouseCoopers where I work with data warehousing and data mining.
