3D MRI Brain Warping
Four subjects' MR scans have been stereotactically
normalized using a fast 3D non-linear warping algorithm.
I am currently working on methods for performing automated 3D stereotactic
normalization (`3D warping') of anatomical images. The idea is to transfer
the anatomical normalization information to the functional images, thereby
reducing the inter-subject variation which is a noise factor in multi-subject
functional brain studies.
You can obtain the UNIX C-source code for the non-linear registration
program and read the on-line
documentation. There is a preliminary man-page for the warping program.
The program uses the VOLIO package for volume I/O. Visit the free
software page to download.
